About the message you received
Yawp is an assistant. Someone delegated an errand to it — booking something, asking a price, chasing an answer — and it wrote to you about that one thing, on their behalf. This page answers the questions you probably have, in the order you probably have them.
A named person. Their name is in the sign-off of the message, and the errand is theirs — Yawp only carries it out. If you would rather deal with them directly, use the name in the sign-off; they are the one who decides anything that gets decided.
The address it came from ends in @getyawp.ai and belongs to exactly one account. It is not a shared blast address.
Because the person delegated it, the same way they might ask a colleague to make a call. Yawp handles the back-and-forth — drafting, following up, keeping track — and reports back to them. Everything it writes concerns their specific errand with you.
It says so in the message itself: every email Yawp sends carries a line stating that it is an AI assistant. That line is added by our software, not written by the assistant, so it cannot be talked out of appearing.
Yes. The first message Yawp sends to anyone is always held as a draft until the person it works for reads it and approves it with a one-time code. Yawp cannot introduce itself to you on its own.
What gets approved is what gets sent, byte for byte — approval transmits the exact draft the person read, with no rewriting in between. Later replies in a conversation they have already approved may go out within limits they set.
Just reply to the email, normally. It reaches the assistant, and the person it works for sees it. There is no portal to sign in to, no account to create, and nothing to click.
Attachments, quotes, and “let me check and get back to you” are all fine. If you need a human, say so in the reply.
Reply and say you would rather not be contacted. That reply goes to the person the assistant works for, and they decide what happens next.
To stop it yourself rather than asking, block or filter the sending address. Because that address belongs to a single account, blocking it stops everything from that sender — nothing else routes through it. That is the only method that does not depend on someone acting on your reply.
You are not on a list. Yawp does not send marketing mail, does not send in bulk, and does not add you to anything. When the errand is finished, the writing stops.
The same assistant also places phone calls, and reports back to the person what was said either way. That is the whole product — there is no newsletter, no network, and nothing it does with your address beyond this errand.
